Peter Hoang - Erina Gonstead Chiropractor

B.SC., M. CHIRO

With a background in competitive swimming spanning from school to my early university years, my profound interest in achieving optimal body balance and function emerged. Upon completing my Bachelor of Science and Master of Chiropractic degrees majoring in Physiology, I developed a comprehensive understanding of the functional neurology of the body as an integrated system, appreciating its inherent ability to adapt and self-heal.

I firmly believe in the efficacy of the Gonstead system of Chiropractic, particularly its specificity in adjustments, to optimize the body’s return to a natural state of health and function. Extensive participation in seminars has reinforced my recognition of the pivotal role accurate and precise adjustments play in influencing the nervous system.

I am a big advocate for specific functional exercises especially when coupled with chiropractic adjustments, constitutes a cornerstone of my approach, fostering optimal musculoskeletal function, strength and flexibility. This synergist combination supports the body’s capacity to sustain movement. My overarching aspiration is to assist individuals in reducing pain, enhancing their quality of life and facilitating a return to activities they cherish.

I am currently a member of the Gonstead Chiropractic Society (Australia) and the Australian Chiropractic Association.

Beyond the realm of chiropractic, I embrace early morning ocean swims and runs and devote time to passionately supporting my favourite sports team, Manchester United. My enthusiasm extends to participation in and observation of sports including skiing, tennis, golf and football. With a discerning palate, I harbor a substantial appetite for a wide array of cuisines though the search for a culinary experience rivalling Vietnamese cuisine remains ongoing!

Kiara Karayannis - Erina Gonstead Chiropractor

B.SC. CHIRO., M. CHIRO

From a young age I’ve had a special interest in the human body and its incredible inbuilt ability to grow, develop and heal when necessary. I’ve been lucky to be raised by parents who are both chiropractors and so I have received regular adjustments since birth. This has resulted in my strong belief that good health comes from an optimally functioning nervous system, free from obstructions.

It was in my final year of high school that I decided I wanted to become a chiropractor (definitely one of my greatest decisions). Since then, I have never looked back! Our family dinner conversations are always full of chiropractic talk, hundreds of queries and questions, all fuelling my desire to learn and grow as a chiropractor.

The philosophy and precision of the Gonstead chiropractic technique seemed to make natural sense to me and so I have made this the cornerstone of my approach in caring for patients. I also have a particular interest in caring for children and women, including through pregnancy. My desire is to help anyone who’s willing, to unleash their inbuilt potential to shine with health and vibrancy.

When I am not eagerly learning more about chiropractic, I enjoy cooking up a storm whilst listening to some killer beats. I also enjoy spending time by the water, whether it’s on the beach with a good book, or on a wharf with a fishing rod and good company. All in all, I thrive from focusing on the good in each day and in helping as many people as I can.

Looking forward to helping you on your journey!
